Folks:
The LII is pleased to announce formally the existence of two
new services.
The first is a search engine which permits
comprehensive searching of all US Circuit Court of Appeals
decisions mounted on the Internet, with a specialized
easy-to-use interface for the more common types of queries as
well as a more complex but powerful interface which makes use
of the full power of the Harvest/Glimpse search engine. Cases
are searchable by party name and cite (subject to some
limitations spelled out on the Web page). This work builds on
the substantial collections built and maintained by Emory,
Pace, Touro, Texas, and Villanova, and we hope it will aid in
the usability of those archives.
Find it at:

The second new "toy" will already be familiar to many of you:
our Net current-awareness service known (for the time being, at
least) as BigEar. We have obtained the cooperation and
assistance of the Cornell Law Library, who are adding
commentary to selected entries which BigEar culls from the
Net. It can be found at:
http://barratry.law.cornell.edu:5123/notify/buzz.html
We hope you'll find these useful.
Best,
Tb.
