Re: looseleaf services and their "knock-offs"

Are you listening CBC?????

Yet another rip off is their Comparative Negligence Manual. Aside from
the cost -- and a new edition (3d) was probably due anyway -- the format
is now 2 looseleaf volumes when one compression volume sufficed
previously. The amount of paper is virtually the same, with each one of
the 2 volumes being the same binder width as the old single volume.

My budget is tight, as well as my shelf space. I am not a happy camper.

With some new trademark matters added to our practice, I have been
requested to purchase the current edition of McCarthy. I have every
intention of resisting -- heck, maybe I should give Matthew Bender (!)
the business with their Gilson treatise.

I do not know how successful I will be, but from now on, every CBC new
format treatise will receive very careful review by our firm: I will try
to find alternative treatises and services.

Enough is enough.
