I once lived in a run-down apartment building in New York that among other
things lacked heat. When I would call the rental office to complain, the
person on the other end would intone "you're the only one
complaining." When I would speak to my neighbors (yes, unlike in the
movies we New Yorkers do talk to those who live near us - but only when we
have to) I would find that they too were told they were the only ones
complaining.
Lest that happen with CBC (or any other publisher), I would first like to
add that I too am appalled at the supplementation changes to and the increase
in price of Couch. I also urge everyone who is upset to write a letter to
the president of CBC, cc CRIV and send a copy to your Library Committee,
Finance Committee and anyone else in your organization who should be aware
of your efforts to combat these unwarranted revenue raisers.
ps - did anyone else notice that the holes for the supplements of Shepard's
Newberg on Class Actions are punched in the wrong place?
