I would also like to add my "2 cents"... I suggest someone might take the
opportunity to
closely review the actual changes in these supplements. I believe correcting
minor
corrections or merely adding one word to a page/ rearranging the material is
actually
"errata" not supplemental updates.... IMHO charging for as such would be
fraudulent...
We should start actually comparing/reading the material.... I know that
time-wise, this seems ridiculous but I'll wager that's what SOME publishers
MIGHT count on.... ( I am referring to any publishers, in general - NOT any
particular publisher mentioned by others)
How much of these updates are actually "new information"?? I once found
references to an updated section in a looseleaf publication which cost an
unbelievable amount of $$ and the section didn't even exist! I wrote a
letter to the pub. & the reply by the editor never explained it...
I heard the other day about a woman filing a class action suit against
"victora's secret" because the catalogs sent to men had a larger sale
discount posted
than the catalogs sent to woman customers...
People are fed up w/ getting ripped off.......
