Paula - I doubt that there are jokes appropriate for a eulogy - certainly
not canned jokes! It would seem to me that any humor would need to be
very personal and related to the deceased. Of course, finding a tactful
way to tell a partner that their idea is pretty offensive may be as
difficult as finding jokes appropriate for a eulogy. It seems that your
attorney is lazy or didn't know the recently departed very well. Maybe
Miss Manners has suggestions. Regards. sz
