Re: Market Surveys: was Couch on Insurance

I am not a user of the Couch on Insurance set, but I have never been asked
about format preferences, either.

As far as preferences go, I only have a few observations:

1) If the product is looseleaf (either compression bound or notebook type),
it is annoying to users to have the entire supplement at the back (similar to
pocket part). I have actually had people ask where the supplement was and
had to explain "it's in the back of this volume."

2) Even though there is more chance for theft and fall out, I prefer the
notebook type looseleaf format over compression bound. When the volume gets
overstuffed on compression bound, the volumes are hard to keep open and read.

3) I agree that pocket parts are much easier for my filer to handle. It is
also easier to determine when the last update was--just glance at the pocket
part for the volume. No having to look at the first volume or the filing
instructions.

Just my humble opinion on one cup of coffee several hours ago.
