The Section on Law Libraries is sponsoring a breakfast this year
on Friday, January 5th in San Antonio. Note that there is a place on the
registration form to sign up for the breakfast. Later that morning,
following the Deans/Directors workshop, Ed Edmonds has planned a Section
program on the impact of law school automation activities on libraries.
Judy Anspach and Judy Gaskell are also organizing informal discussion
groups for new directors on management-related issues.
The Section's business meeting will be held during the breakfast.
Agenda items should be sent to me prior to the meeting. I am pleased to
report that a nominating committee consisting of Ann Bateson and Steven
Barkan has presented the following candidates for section offices in
1996: Chairperson: Edmund Edmonds; Chairperson-Elect: Gail Daly;
Executive Committee Members: Glen-Peter Ahlers, Judith Anspach, Patricia
Cervanka, Judith Gaskell, Christopher Simoni.
