     Fisher & Hurst seeks a librarian with excellent interpersonal skills
     and a strong service orientation. A minimum of two years of relevant
     law library experience is required. Candidates must have excellent
     knowledge of legal resources and methodology, including traditional
     and online services. Familiarity with PC/DOS applications such as
     WordPerfect and Paradox is a plus.
     
     The law librarian is a key player in the selection, development and
     management of the library's automated library information system. The
     individual works closely with the accounting department to monitor and
     manage the annual library budget.
     
     It is anticipated that the new law librarian will work 20-25 hours per
     week.
     
     Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
     
     Background: Fisher & Hurst was formed in 1949 and specializes in
     litigation, insurance and employment law. The firm has developed an
     excellent reputation for aggressive litigation in complex cases
     involving environmental, employment, construction, product and
     professional liability and insurance coverage issues.
     
     The firm currently has 18 attorneys, of whom nine are partners.
     Although the practice at Fisher & Hurst is largely defense oriented,
     the firm does handle plaintiff cases for various clients.
