I looked in Cheryl Nyberg's Subject Compilations of State Laws from 1993
back to 1983. I found no source that specifically discussed beverage
labelling requirements. However, there are some articles that may affect
the labelling of mineral water. in the 1983-85 volume, I found: Andrew
Eiler, The consumer protection manual from Facts on File. That has a
table listing state deceptive sales practices laws. Another article is
Jack E. Karns, "Redefining 'Deceptive' Advertising Under the Illinois
Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act..." in 1985
S.Ill.U.L.J. 1, at page 48, footnote 338, listning cites to state codes,
covering consumer protection laws. Depending on what you need it for,
you may want, judging from this quick search, to broaden your search.
