Securities Question

An attorney at our law office would like to get information on GDRs and
ADRs, and especially information on what is the difference. Does anybody
have any leads for me?

A GDR is a "Global Depository Receipt", and an ADR is an "American
Depository Receipt". Or maybe "depository" should be "depositary",
please don't flame me if I got it wrong.

I have Westlaw and Lexis access, but would appreciate a specific journal
title or cite, as my telnet connection to these services is painfully slow.

A web or gopher site would also be wonderful.

Thanks in advance.
