Howdy all!
I've been tracing the various revisions of a particular CFR section (most
specifically 31 CFR 306). So far, we're back to the second revision
which occurred in 1963 (the Federal Register has provided the text of the
2nd, 3rd & 4th revisions); now there are only 2 more to go: the first
revision, and the original version. The problem is that, unlike the
other versions which gave reference to each prior version, the second
revision doesn't give a citation to when the first revision was published
in the Federal Register.
As far as I can tell, the List of CFR Sections Affected (LSA) didn't start
until 1964, which means I'm out of luck as far as this source is concerned.
Can anyone tell me whether this is true? And if it is, does anyone have
any ideas about how to locate when the revisions took place so I can
track them down in the Federal Register?
I've been staring and working on this so much, I feel like I may be
forgetting some source, bu I can't quite put my finger on it.
