We're looking into using queueing software to manage print jobs and/or
downloads from our public terminals. The idea is to control print jobs
from a central location, in hopes of making it easier for staff to monitor
and trouble-shoot a large variety of public printer use. This is a fairly
common arrangement in computer labs and the like, but I don't know of any
particular law libraries using such a set-up.
If any of you on law-lib have information on this sort of thing - name of
software, experiences - I'd love a reply! (Or perhaps you could simply
email your name/phone and a convenient time to call?)
Thanks.
