Have your people take a look at a software package called "Dragon Dictate."
I've not used it, but my sister (who works with stroke patients) highly
recommends it. Apparently it is compatible with pratically every
operating system known; there are two versions based on the size of the
vocabulary needed; and it's 'trainable' -- the user reads in certain
pre-selected words and phrases and the software learns to recognize the
way the user says the phrase...
And no, I don't own stock in the company. I don't even know the name of
the company that produces it, but Mel says it's a well-known program.
