I do not know of any articles on the subject of unauthorised practise as
a lawyer, but I will see if I can find any and if I do I will let you
know. One thing I do know is that I know of two people who practise
extensively as lawyers, even though they are non-lawyers. One of these
people studied law for a short time, but never finished. The other
somehow did a postgraduate diploma course in criminology. Though that
does not entitle him to practise, of course, he still practises anyway.
He even told me recently that he practised criminal law, and that,
therefore, he is a lawyer! His practise of the criminal law involves
getting cases for lawyers and charging the lawyers a commission. It looks
like becoming the latest scam in Australia. I wonder if it is happening
elsewhere?
