I am hoping that a colleague in Michigan would be willing to help me with
the following question:
What are the procedures for the enforcement or execution
of a foreign (specifically, California) judgment in Michigan?
Michigan statutes do not seem to include the Uniform Enforcement of
Foreign Judgments law, though I did find the Uniform Foreign
Money-Judgments Recognition Act in the statutes. In California we have a
practice guide titled Enforcing Judgments and Debts (put out by the Rutter
Group) - is there anything similar in Michigan?
