         Evening Reference/Research Services Librarian

The University of Richmond Law School Library has an opening for an
evening Reference/Research Librarian. The hours for this position
are Sunday through Thursday, noon to 8:30 p.m. This position will
have the primary responsibility for providing reference service to
students, faculty and other Library patrons during the evening hours.
Teaching responsibilities include: first-year legal research; (as
part of the Lawyering Skills curriculum) CALR training; lectures to
undergraduate classes, as requested by undergraduate faculty; and
lectures on specialized legal research topics.

The Evening Reference/Research Services Librarian will also be
expected to develop annotated bibliographies, pathfinders and other
specialized research aids. In addition, the Evening
Reference/Research Services Librarian will share general reference
responsibilities with the five other librarians on staff, working at
the reference desk approximately 10 hours per week. At other times,
the Evening Reference/Research Services Librarian will offer tours to
classes of other institutions that use the Library in the evening.

Qualifications: A JD/MLS from accredited schools is preferable. A
JD or MLS from accredited schools and experience is required. Salary
and benefits are competitive.
