The University Library is seeking a dynamic manager to lead one of the
major law libraries in Australia. You would be responsible for managing
the Law Library which is part of the University Library and provides
service to all faculties but primarily to the Faculty of Law. There are 10
staff and a materials budget of $567,000.
You will need a minimum of 7 years experience in a university library or
similar environment including experience in a law library, extensive
experience in the management of library functions, financial and resource
management and in the provision of policy advice at a senior level.
You will be experienced in the delivery of information to end users
particularly in electronic formats. You will be able to demonstrate strong
interpersonal skills and the capacity to motivate and lead a staff team.
You will be a person who would welcome the challenge of developing the
strategic direction of the Law Library and to develop their leadership role
in this position.
Salary: $49,442 - $51,439
