Reference Librarian
Marquette University Law Library solicits applications
for the position of reference librarian. The successful applicant
will work with four other public services librarians and provide
reference services to students, faculty, members of the
University community, the bar, and public patrons. Other
responsibilities include teaching first-year and advanced legal
research; preparing Library publications; participating in the
Library's liaison programs to faculty and student organizations.
Will participate in evening and weekend reference rotation.
Require: MLS from an ALA-accredited school;
excellent oral and written skills; strong service orientation;
familiarity with Westlaw and LEXIS. Prefer: JD; experience
working in an academic or law firm library; teaching
experience.
Position is expected to be available mid-fall semester.
