Jill - If you also download the bill status from the Texas Legislative
Gopher, it will tell you the effective date and the signed date. If a
date is not given, the bill goes into effect Sept. 1, 1995.

Subject: Texas 74th signed bills

This message has been posted to Law-Lib and TxDoc. Please delete now if you
have seen.
Does anyone know where and if the full text of house and senate bills from
the 74th Texas Legislature session "which have been signed by the governor"
can be downloaded. Going to "capitol.tlc.texas.gov" does not give me the
completed bill (such as when it will go into effect, etc. ) and West's
Vernon's Texas session law service has only those which are approved up to
May 19th, 1995.
