Subject: OPM Library reopened
Good news, sort of. I called the OPM Library today, and the
phone was answered! It seems that the OPM powers decided to
open the library back up. Of course, no RIF notices have been
rescinded, so the future is still dark. I suggested to the
library staff member I spoke with (didn't get his name) that
the library keep this list informed of their status. He was
pleased to hear that their plight had been publized, and were
glad of federal library support. Keep calling the OPM director
and IG and let them know how you feel about the (now) proposed
closing.
