          I need to obtain copies of the charters of the National Sports
     Teams, i.e. NBA, NFL, NHL, etc., also referred to as bylaws or
     articles or incorporation.

          I've tried sports & intellectual property treatises, Lexis &
     Westlaw, floated around on the Net a bit, and even pumped our
     attorneys and other firm librarians for information. Before I break
     down and call the associations, which I understand are difficult to
     deal with, I thought I throw this out for those knowledgeable
     librarian sports fans. Any ideas?
