There will be detailed handouts at the
Hospitality/Information booth for SHOPPING, BOOKSTORES, RELGIOUS
SERVICES, and ESPRESSO at the booth, as well as detailed information
about local antique shopes, entertainment, and public transportation. We
have detailed information for public transportation to: North Side,
South Side, South Hills, Shadyside, Squirrel Hill, and Oakland. We will
also have on hand bus schedules for other Pittsburgh communities, taxi
phone numbers and rates, etc.
We have several excellent Pittsburgh and regional
reference books for sightseeing, entertainment and touring including the
POOR MANS/RICH MANS GUIDE TO PITTSBURGH, a book about the small towns of
Pennsylvania, and a book of one-day trips in Pennsylvania.
Hospitality is sponsoring a DAILY RAFFLE -- terrific
gifts! -- of items unique to Pittsburgh. Stop by and drop your card into
our raffle box. Hospitality also has a good collection of maps, local,
regional, and state.
The Hospitality Booth is set up on the second level of
the Conventin Center, South Hall, directly adjacent to the ALA store, and
across the aisle from the Internet Room.
As always, Hospitality/Information booth has set up
member MESSAGE BOARDS. Please come by to visit us; we are eager to help
get you connected to all of the good things and places in PITTSBURGH
