(and I apologize if it shows up several times on each; I seem to be
particularly inept at the keyboard today. BB)
I have been asked by Williams Powers, of the ABA Consultant on Legal
Education's office, to post the following information:
Law library directors will soon be receiving a mailing concerning the
hearings, to be held at AALL, on the ABA's proposed library standards.
Please note that the day is correct--Tuesday, July 18--but the time has
been changed to 5:30-7:00 p.m. The room will stay the same.
This change has been made to accommodate the business meeting of the
Academic Law Libraries SIS; the hearings and the business meeting were
previously scheduled in overlapping time slots. I would like to publicly
thank Mr. Powers and the ABA committee and AALL Headquarters for their quick
action in fixing this conflict.
