Thanks to all the attendees and the CS-SIS for helping make Lawberry Camp 2009 a success at the annual meeting. For more information about Lawberry Camp, check out the website: http://lawberrycamp.com.
Next year we would like to make Lawberry Camp an all day workshop available to all conference attendees. This will allow us to experiment with different conference formats. Potential ideas tossed around include pecha kucha, ignite sessions, lightening talks, a problem solving session, video booths and more. We will work to keep the camp as informal and fun as it was this year, and try to add some new wrinkles as well.
But if we're going to go for full workshop status we need to act quick and we need your help. AALL workshops require learning outcomes. But how do we apply learning outcomes to an unconference? In true Lawberry Camp fashion, we would like your help in crafting the workshop proposal.
We've set up a Lawberry Camp 2010 Proposal page on the wiki: http://lawberrycamp.com/wiki/LawberryCamp2010Proposal
We invite all interested parties to help us craft a proposal that will wow the Annual Meeting Program Committee. After a few weeks we'll take that proposal, work with our sponsors and submit it.
Thanks in advance for your input,
Jason
