    Colleagues:

If you ever have considered serving as a newsletter editor for an AALL chapter, SIS, library, or other entity, this practical discussion sponsored by the Council of Newsletter Editors (CONE) Committee will jumpstart your service. If you are a current or former editor, you have the wisdom of experience to exchange with other editors.

Please join us Monday, July 27, at 5:30 p.m., in Room 2, Renaissance Hotel. We will provide light refreshments and a convenient brainstorming opportunity before the West Customer Appreciation event starts in the nearby ballroom. Challenges to be tackled include the proper role of the newsletter in an age of proliferating media; recruitment of columnists and other contributors; management of photo files and permissions; and publication technology.

Please send any special requests to one of the CONE co-chairs by July 20. We hope to see you there.
