Associate Dean for Law Library Services & Information Technology
Northern Kentucky University Chase College of Law is seeking a dynamic,
forward thinking individual to fill a vacancy in the following position:
Associate Dean for Law Library Services & Information Technology.
The Associate Dean for Law Library Services & Information Technology is
a tenure or tenure track position with faculty status. The position
reports directly to the Dean of the College of Law. Candidates must
possess both a J.D. and an M.L.S. from accredited institutions.
Candidates should have the credentials for a tenured or tenure-track
appointment, which would include significant professional
accomplishments and some publications.
The College of Law is looking for an individual who has a demonstrated
track record of advancing the use of educational technology in a law
school curriculum. This individual should have a demonstrated desire and
experience in leading a vibrant, responsive library that is devoted to
embracing the information resources of the twenty-first century.
The Associate Dean is responsible for the management of the law library
as well as the technology operations of the College of Law. The
Associate Dean is responsible for coordinating the legal research
program, which is a separately graded component of the required first
year Basic Legal Skills class. This responsibility includes teaching in
the program and supervising adjuncts who teach in the program.
