    Jon,
The ALL-SIS Continuing Status Committee put together a website on this
issue a few years ago. It's up at
http://www.aallnet.org/sis/allsis/cst/index.html. Looks like it was just
    updated in March this year.

Subject: [LAW-LIB:59127] Law school librarians : faculty status question

    Hi,

We at Pierce Law are in the process of a potential merger with the
University of New Hampshire. As part of that process we are comparing
the status of the UNH librarians with the Pierce structure. I have been
asked to gather as much data as possible on the faculty status of law
    school librarians in the U.S.:

    -Faculty status?

    - Independent law school or part of university

    - If part of a university, is the faculty status of the law school or
    the general university faculty

    - what titles are used

    - what forms of tenure, alternative security or other means used

    - what benefits come with the status

If you can share what's going on at your school, that would save us a
full review of universities on the web. If there is a link to a page
with the info or the policy document - much appreciated. If you know of
    a compiled source, fabulous.

Thanks for anything you can share, as usual. If you missed it - I did
post the responses to my summer associate book camp survey to the list -
so I do reciprocate and will do so with this information if requested.

Best regards from sunny New Hampshire.
