    Dear Benita:

This title is a must have:
Kurzban's immigration law sourcebook : a comprehensive outline and
    reference tool
    ISBN: 1573701300

You should also have access to:
Interpreter releases : an information service on immigration,
    naturalization and related matters.
    ISSN: 0020-9686; LCCN: 56-40026
(Interpreter Releases seems to have consistently bedeviled cataloguers,
as WorldCat has several different entries for this critical serial.)

Gordon and Mailman's Immigration Law & Procedure, a Bender loose-leaf,
is also quite useful. But the Kurzban is really the touchstone. And
since many IJ decisions are not reported, the Interpreter Releases
remains the most important current awareness service.

You may also want to check with AILA (American Immigration Lawyer's
Service), who also maintain an up-to-date catalog of publications:
    http://www.aila.org/

And finally, a shout-out for my former employer (eons and eons ago),
the Immigrant Legal Resource Center: http://www.ilrc.org/ They are an
invaluable source of information for attorneys, paralegals, and
    immigrants.

    Best,

    dkp

    Dear Colleagues:

Our law library is looking to develop our immigration law collection
and I was wondering if there are any law librarians on the listserv who
work for immigration attorneys and would know the definitive books that
an immigration law library should have in its collection?

Thanks so much for your help.

    Kind Regards,

    Benita Ghura
