Greetings to All:

Trying to find something that addresses the citability of an authority, e.g., a CA Atty Gen Opin.,contained in the annotations?to a?fairly?recent statute -- caveat:?the A.G. Opin was issued under a (much?) differently worded predecessor/version of the statute.

Is there some treatise or other material out there that someone may know about that might touch on this issue, esp. something California specific, but doesn't have to be?
