Thanks to all those who took time to give me leads.
The only (recent) book I found was "Appeals to the Second Circuit," 9th ed. (2007), published by Record Press. It was prepared by the Committee on Federal Courts of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. I also spoke with the librarian at the Second Circuit who confirmed that that's all there is, at least for civil litigation, that is Second Circuit specific.

Subject: [LAW-LIB:58700] Second Circuit Appellate Treatise?
My attorney wants "whatever the best Second Circuit appellate practice treatise is."
There are treatises dealing with appellate practice in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, but I am unaware of whether there is a comparable title for the Second Circuit.
I've found the "Second Circuit Handbook" on the court's web site. I've seen the local interim rule in question mentioned in more general federal appellate practice books, e.g., Knibb's Federal Court of Appeals Manual. Finding those general federal appellate treatises isn't a problem, but any suggestions about a Second Circuit-only one would be appreciated.
