I got a couple of suggestions.

The lead that turned out the best was to use the USDA's Economic
    Research Service site.

    Thanks to everyone!

Subject: [LAW-LIB:58697] corn commodity prices in 2008

I am looking for the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) corn prices for 2008.
The specific figures I need are the low price per bushel, the high price
    and the average.

I contacted the CME Group and was told they could not simply provide me
with the information. I would have to purchase the full data set for
    Jan 1- Dec 31, 2008 end-of-day prices for corn ($210).

Does anyone know of another source for finding this information? I am
willing to pay, just hoping to pay less. Or free.

    Thanks for your advice,

    Bonnie
