Are there any public (free) online resources for searching Personal
Property Security Act financing statement filings in Ontario? I found a
company, Centro Legal Works, that will run a search for a fee, but I was
wondering if there are any public databases that can be searched. We do
not need to file a financing statement. We just want to know if a couple
of corporations have used some of their assets as collateral to secure
business loans.
Any guidance will be appreciated.
