    An INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (Library Systems Admin.) position has
    just opened at the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts (AO). The AO
    is located in the Thurgood Marshall Federal Judiciary Building in the
    Capitol Hill area of Washington, D.C. right next to Union Station (Metro
    Red Line).

    The IT Specialist provides national leadership for the administration of
    the federal judiciary's Integrated Library System (SirsiDynix's Unicorn)
    in each circuit nationwide. Duties of this position include maintaining
    the Unicorn software (including customizations and coordination of
    upgrades) and troubleshooting complex technical problems. Additionally,
    the IT Specialist interacts with AO management and circuit library staff,
    and develops system administration and user documentation, procedural
    guidelines and training for all court staff nationwide.
