As a member of the 2009 AALL Nominations Committee, I ask for your
assistance in suggesting names of librarians, for forthcoming vacancies
on the 2010 AALL Executive Board. Historically, individuals nominated
for these positions have, through previous chapter, SIS or committee
work, established their potential for senior leadership. I know there
are many talented librarians with the ability to lead our professional
association.
The Nominations Committee will work throughout the spring to find
outstanding candidates for two Board positions, a treasurer and the
office of Vice President/President Elect. Your help in identifying
individuals with leadership skills will be most appreciated.
Please send the names of your nominees to me or any member of the
committee as soon as convenient, but no later than March 16.
