I'd add some training on basic Internet searching--including Boolean
connectors, phrase searching, and Advanced Google search techniques such
as limiting a search to a specific domain, or to a specific file type...

Our library is planning a series of training sessions for faculty secretaries/administrative assistants this summer. If your library has such a program or is planning one, I would be interested in knowing what you cover in these sessions. We are planning to begin with an orientation to the library which will include a library tour and introduction to the online catalog. That session will be followed by basic Lexis and Westlaw searching sessions and sessions on the Lexis web course and TWEN. However, I would be interested in suggestions for other sessions that might be useful for faculty secretaries. If you've done this or have ideas, I would like to hear from you. Thanks very much.
