It states in the American Library Association's Code of Ethics:
We treat co-workers and other colleagues with respect, fairness and good
faith, and advocate conditions of employment that safeguard the rights
and welfare of all employees of our institutions.
These incredibly offensive postings violate this rule, and common sense
rules of proper conduct and behavior among professionals. Instead of
postings that many of us find offensive, Mr. Huttner could simply hit
the delete key and ignore emails that he finds offensive. As his
postings are by far the most offensive, please exclude him.
