I agree. Mr. Huttner's occasional helpfulness does not outweigh, IMO, his repeated unprofessional behavior on this list. While Leslie Germaine is clearly annoying him on purpose, no one is forcing him to respond with outraged accusations and violent outbursts. I would never dream of acting this way on a professional list once, let alone repeatedly.
I vote for banning both.

Please remove him.....Any possible value is far out-weighed by the waste of time.The personal nastiness and rage displayed in these emails is unsettling. I am sure he would respond to a personal email to assist anyone who needed his professional expertise. I think these exchanges are a private issue that does not belong on a listserv. Since this is an ongoing problem, I don't think the burden should be on all of us on all of us to keep "hitting delete".
