Thanks to the MANY who have replied. The answer is:

1) New York Code of Professional Responsibility, a multi-volume set and
2) Simon's New York Code of Professional Responsibility Annotated, a more compact West publication. "The Bible"

Subject: [LAW-LIB:57988] New York State Legal Ethics Treatise

Is there a treatise that deals with NY professional legal ethics? I've found web sites with NY ethics opinions and codes and rules, but my attorney is looking for a treatise on the subject. Something comparable, maybe, to "California Practice Guide: Professional Ethics," by Vapnek & Tuft.

I found some material in the "NY Jur 2d" volume Attorneys at Law. More extensive that New York librarians could recommend?
