Admittedly, it has been 32 years since I actually sat in a law school
classroom, so my current knowledge is probably out of date (or at least
subject to pocket-part revisionism).
Some one has asked me what textbooks are generally used by first year
law students for the basic courses - torts, criminal law, property and
the like. Since I am not sure, I thought it would be nice to get a
survey of the list.
So, are the texts currently used by first year law students casebooks,
professor prepared case packets, descriptive texts, law summaries, or
something else?
