It's been years since I used them (late 70s-mid 80s) In their day (
the late 60s and 70s ) the Oceana series books were the NOLO of their
time. I understand the entire series is going through an update. The
advantage of the Oceana series might be that the subjects covered are a
bit narrower , more focused and Oceana is now owned by Oxford University
Press who is putting some money back into the series. It would seem to
me that the pro se patron could benefit from the series

    Law for the Layperson series?

Is anyone familiar with Oceana's Legal Almanac Series: Law for
the Layperson? We have a fairly large pro se patron base, and I'm
wondering if this series is worth considering. We already get most of
the Nolo publications. Any feedback is much appreciated.
