Hello all. I am working on extensions to Zotero for legal writing, to
support writing courses in my faculty, located in Japan. At the
moment, there is a screen reader module for law reviews on Lexis (US &
Canadian Law Reviews, Combined), and I'm nearly finished with Bluebook
support for secondary sources (books, book sections, articles,
magazines). At the first stage, I'm aiming for this, plus rudimentary
support for cases and statutes, after which we'll give it a run for a
couple of academic terms, and consider what improvements and
extensions are needed.
The Bluebook style requires some non-standard enhancements to Zotero,
and I have prepared a patched version of the system that provides most
of the necessary functionality. Releases of the patched version will
be made here:

(The 0.5 version that is currently up reflects the first cut of the
work. The next 0.6 version, to go up later this week, will be
altogether more amazing.)
If anyone would be willing to try out this experimental kit, please
let me know. Community feedback would certainly be welcome, and I am
curious how much interest there is out there in a tool of this kind.
