I've just spent several days comparing Fastcase to Casemaker to help the
CA State Bar decide between Fastcase and Casemaker.

Also, I've written an article on Fastcase for the ALI-ABA Internet Fact
Finding for Lawyers newsletter (volume 3, number 2--not available yet)
and an article on Casemaker (volume 3, number 1--not available yet).

Bottom line: Fastcase is a very good database-but it only has case law.
You might think it has more when you first look at it, but it merely
links to the official state codes, etc. If your attorneys only need a
case law database, it's fine. Every bar puts up a different amount of
info, so you would need to see what the NV Bar offers. Also, Fastcase
does not offer Federal District cases or Bankruptcy cases in their basic
"free" bar association package. The attorneys have to upgrade to that
(unless the particular bar has paid for the upgrade). Fastcase is very
    user friendly.

Does anyone use Fastcase or had any experience with it (good or bad)? It is being offered as a service to members of the Nevada State bar and one of my attorneys is asking about it.

    Thanks.
