    Dear Colleagues:

    I am writing to remind you of the Morris L. Cohen Student Essay
    Competition, sponsored by the AALL Legal History and Rare Books SIS, in
    cooperation with Gale Cengage Learning.

    Currently enrolled students attending graduate programs in library
    science, law, history, or related subjects are eligible to enter the
    competition. Papers may be on any topic related to legal history, rare
    law books, or legal archives. Papers must be submitted by April 15, 2009.

    I have attached a flyer with more complete information, including the
    prize. Detailed information is available on the LHRB website at:
