I don't know of directory published by the SEC though there may be one but

Use 10KWizard, a moderatley priced annual subscription service, to generate
a list of foreign companies that sell shares on U.S. exchanges. Search by
country and select the Company List. For Austria, there are 295 companies.
I'm not familiar enough to know the reason for the variation in the two
sources and that would have to be explored. It could be that the 10KWizard
result is more inclusive because it's retrospective and maintains an
archival file; or, there be other differences with regard to definitions of
what's included in each that I'm unfamiliar with. If anyone knows, I'll
appreciate learning more.
