    The SCCLL Awards Committee is seeking nominations for the Bethany J. Ochal Award for Distinguished Service to the Profession. The Ochal Award recognizes the significant contribution to the profession of a librarian who is recently retired or is nearing the end of his or her library career.
     
    Attached you will find a full description of the award with a listing of prior winners and a nomination form. Nominations can be forwarded to any of the below listed members of the SCCLL Awards Committee. The deadline for submissions is March 30, 2009.
     
    Please consider nominating a deserving colleague or mentor.
