The 2009 Advanced Management in Private Law Libraries<http://law.lexisnexis.com/infopro/Professional-and-Personal-Development/AMPLL-2009-The-Seventh-Conference-on-Advanced-Management-for-Private-Law-Librarians/> (AMPLL) conference, April 24-26, 2009 in Dallas, TX, will help you develop and expand the leadership skills you will need to navigate successfully through this turbulent professional environment. We will explore trends in the legal industry; ways to present information skills and resources to management to the best advantage of the library; staff development and succession planning.
The AMPLL Conference is open to all law librarians working in a management position, such as library manager, director, or department head in a private law or corporate legal department. In making decisions, the Advisory Council will strive for diversity in such areas as geographical distribution, firm size, and managerial experience and responsibilities.
