    In checking my own name at DomainTools.com's Registrant Search, it's not
    there, either for the reason that Michelle suggests or because I didn't use
    my name when registering. I don't remember. However, when searching on my
    email address, it leads to a domain I registered in which I used my email
    address as the contact.
     
    A complete or comprehensive source is probably unlikely for the reason
    Michelle suggests or because someone may not use his/her name when
    registering a site. I'm not sure of all issues without further exploration
    but checking DomainTools is worth a try.

    Most web site hosting facilities offer a privacy service. They will put
    their name in so that a personal name will not show up. So you may or may
    not get the results you are looking for.

    Happy Monday-morning all,
     
    I'm trying to determine whether there is a way to search a person's name to
    determine whether and which website/domain names they have reigstered.
     
    I know that sites like GoDaddy.com will let you search by domain name and
    sometimes tell you who owns it. I would like to do the opposite though?
     
    I know that there is a file on Lexis but it seems it is not updated after
    2004.
