In the 1960s no Australian Government ever refused a "polite request"
of that nature coming from the great US of A. Do you actually know
ANYTHING at all about the history and nature of the relationship
between the USA and Australia ? Ever heard of the famous words of our
late Prime Minister Harold Holt - "All the way with LBJ" ? Plainly
    not. Do some reading.
