I thought I'd update y'all on growing social networks for law
librarians. The most active ones so far besides electronic discussion
groups such as this one, INT-LAW, LIS-LAW, BIB-JUR,
JURICONNEXION, national law library association lists, etc.:

The default setting for Twitter is public too - all your status updates
are publicly viewable and searchable and anyone can follow you. But, you
can lock your status updates so that they are private and folks have to
ask you for permission to follow you and read your updates.

Besides email discussiong groups, invidual librarians are mostly using
Facebook, followed by LinkedIn, then Twitter, I think.
