Reference Librarian
The Hugh F. MacMillan Law Library at Emory University School of Law is seeking an enthusiastic, innovative and service-oriented professional to join our team as Assistant Law Librarian for Reference. Responsibilities Include:
Under the general supervision of the Associate Director, reference librarians provide high-quality legal and non-legal reference assistance to law library users; provide extensive support for law faculty research and teaching through an active library liaison program; participate in collection development in assigned subject areas; and advise the Associate Director and the Director of Library Services on library policy and strategic planning.
Required Qualifications Include:
M.L.I.S (or equivalent degree) from an ALA-accredited institution and J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school; substantial experience conducting research using electronic and print resources; and demonstrated commitment to a high level of service.
